Wildcats Finish Weekend Strongly

AUSTIN and SAN MARCOS – Abilene Christian finished the week strong at the Texas Relays and at the Bobcat Invitational on Saturday.
In San Marcos, Peyton Bornstein finished the women's race in 11:33.60 – the No. 10 time in school history. Maxwel Kiplagat finished the weekend off with a fifth-place finish in the men's 3000-meter steeple chase in 9:35.14.
JP Trook ran the men's 800 meters in 1:57.87.
Meanwhile, in Austin, the men's 4x200 relay posted an impressive 1:23.69 with Matthew Mills, Jared Williams, Addison Franklin and Jack Marshall finishing fourth after winning the heat.
Zoe Burleson also had a strong showing with a throw of 164 feet, 3 inches (50.06 meters) in the discus.
The Wildcats get back to the track quickly, running in the David Noble Relays in San Angelo Wednesday through Friday.
