Track and Field Season Starts Strong in Michigan

ALLENDALE, Mich. – Abilene Christian began track and field season on Friday with a strong outing by four Wildcats, including a new school top-10 time, at Grand Valley State's Holiday Open.
Cooper Goggans won the 800 meters in 1:49.92, establishing a new No. 7 time in the event.
Katelyn Coldicott was second in her 5000-meter race, finishing in 18:04.57.
Riley Pyeatt finished 14th in the women's mile run in 5:07.17.
The night ended for ACU with Levi Chambers getting 12th in the men's 5000 meters in 14:37.
ACU continues its opening weekend of the indoor season at Oklahoma's JD Martin Invitational on Saturday in Norman.
