ABILENE – Abilene Christian added three Texas freshmen to next year's roster on Signing Day.
Jasmine Do from Cypress (Bridgeland High School), Marissa Loya from San Antonio (Reagan) and Julia Vollmer from San Antonio (Alamo Heights) will join the Cats next fall.
"I am so excited about our 2024 class," said ACU Head Coach Rob Bennett. "Jasmine Do, Marissa Loya, and Julia Vollmer are all phenomenal players and will help us continue to build our program into a perennial contender in the Western Athletic Conference. They are all three ranked in the top 100 in the country and each one has a strong junior golf resume with multiple wins under their belts. I think this class shows that we are serious about recruiting the best players in the state of Texas and turning this program into a nationally recognized brand in women's college golf."
The group already brings chemistry to next year's freshman group.
"One unique thing about this class is that all three of these young ladies know each other well from all the time they have spent together in junior golf," said Bennett. "I think that is going to be a huge help come next fall when they get on campus. We have some big goals we hope to accomplish between now and then, but I am excited to welcome Jasmine, Marissa, and Julia to the Wildcat family and I can't wait to have them on campus next August."
