Crisologo, Blair Get Consolation Wins

WACO – Abilene Christian claimed a pair of consolation singles wins at the ITA Regional on Friday.
 
Maryjoe Crisologo and Libby Blair picked up victories after going up against Texas opponents in the main draw earlier in the day. Crisologo defeated Callie Creath of Texas State, 6-1, 6-1. Blair got the better of TCU's Margaret Polk, 6-2, 6-2.
 
"Proud of our effort today," said ACU Head Coach Bryan Rainwater. "We played some really good competition today and competed well in both singles and doubles. Overall, I was very pleased with the day. Looking forward to seeing MJ and Libby get after it in singles tomorrow!"
