Five Wildcats tally double-digit kills against TXST

FORT WORTH, Texas—Wildcats volleyball opened their weekend in an offensive showdown with Texas State on Friday afternoon. Abilene Christian came up just short in their first five-set match of the season after coming back from down two sets to force the fifth. The team totaled 72 kills in the match and had two sets where they hit over .350 as a unit. Five Wildcats notched double-digit kills and all six ACU hitters matched or exceeded their season-high for kills.

- Bossier's five service aces in the match tie for the third-most in DI history, she is now the second Wildcat to tally five or more aces in a match this season.
- Brea Box is now tied for ninth in career kills in ACU's DI era.
- The team's 68 assists are the most the team has had in a single match in DI history.
