Butler transfer Zoe Jackson joins WBB

ABILENE – ACU women's basketball head coach Julie Goodenough announced the signing of former Allen HS standout and Butler transfer Zoe Jackson for the 2022-23 season. The Wildcats will have quite a bit of turnover heading into next season with the graduation of five players, and Jackson helps fill the void at the point guard position. The task is not only to fill in numbers but to fill in talent and character. It's about more than just basketball. It's about being an ACU Wildcat. And Jackson fits the bill heading into the fall.

I am thrilled to be Zoe's next head coach, and we are so excited for her to join our family. We have known her for years and watched her lead her Allen [High School] to plenty of success as a four-year starter. Zoe's experience now as a Big East point guard will be invaluable as she transitions to Wildcat basketball where we will rely on her to create scoring opportunities for her teammates. With good court vision, keen passing ability, and aggressive on ball pressure defense, Zoe will be a welcomed addition to our team.
