Wildcats tripped up by Mustangs to wrap up first weekend

DALLAS – The ACU women's tennis team wrapped up its' third road match in two days on Sunday, falling 4-0 at the hands of SMU.

INSIDE THE MATCH:

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Mustangs took the doubles point with victories in the first and third flights. The tandem of Sylvia Violjoen and Allison Stewart was up 4-1 on Court 2 at the time of the doubles clinch.
SMU carried the momentum into singles action, picking up a 6-1, 6-2 victory on Court 6 to go with a 6-0, 6-1 victory on Court 3.
Lexi Keberle gave the Mustangs a 6-2, 6-2 win in the top flight to clinch the match.

UP NEXT:

The Wildcats are back in action on Friday, when they head to Lubbock to take on Texas Tech at the McLeod Tennis Center.
