Wildcats stumble in breezy visit to Texas Tech

LUBBOCK, Texas – The ACU women's tennis team wrapped up its' four straight road match to open the season on Friday, falling 4-0 at the hands of Texas Tech.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

The Red Raiders took the doubles point with wins in the third and second flights, respectively.
The hosts followed with victories on Courts 6, 1 and 2 to clinch the afternoon's win.
Claire Fisher had picked up a 6-4 win in the first set of #5 singles at the time of the clinch.

UP NEXT:

The Wildcats are back in action on Saturday, when they head south to take on the Roadrunners of UTSA. First serve of doubles action is scheduled for 2:00 p.m.
