Q: What was the first thing you did when you went home to Chickasha (Okla.) last week?
A: The first thing that I did when I went home was ask my mother to fix my brother (who came in from West Texas A&M) and me a nice home cooked meal. There is nothing better than coming home to dinner prepared by my mom!

Q: Which three words best describe the introduction to college you've had over the last six weeks at ACU?
A: Blessing. Home. Intense.

Q: What are some things you learned on the court and in the classroom this summer that will help you be successful when your first full semester begins in the fall?
A: I've learned many valuable things that will help me be successful in my first full semester, like time management. Since being at ACU I've learned how important it is to be on time and ready to go. I've also learned that working hard and giving your best effort leads to positive outcomes. I have really had to step out of my comfort zone and it has been very beneficial for me. I am usually shy and seek others like my mother to help me make decisions but now I am learning to make my own decisions while having the opportunity to learn more about myself.

Q: Coach Goodenough assigned you a 'Summer Sister.' What is that?
A: The purpose of a summer sister is to create a community within the team. It allows for new players like myself to get to know one veteran player deeply. 'Sisters' are encouraged to do things together outside of basketball. It allows teammates to get to know each other while building in accountability as well. My summer sister is Sierra Allen and what is there not to like about Si? She is so friendly and outgoing. I can't think of a time that I've seen Sierra and have not been greeted with open arms and the friendliest "Hey Sis!" Si is a hard-working and determined young Christian lady.

Q: Your family must be happy to have you home for most of July. Tell us more about them.
A: My family is so close knit and inseparable. We literally do everything together. I would have to say that we are all content with just being at home together, enjoying each other's company. In our house there is not a day that goes by that basketball or God is not mentioned. I have definitely missed my parents and all my siblings. I have three siblings at my house in Oklahoma – EJ is the oldest and plays basketball at WT, my younger sister Serenity is in middle school and my brother Christian is three. I also have an older sister and brother as well as niece and nephew who will fly in from California this summer. I'm so excited to spend quality time with the ones who mean the most to me.
