Final ResultsCOLLEGE GROVE, Tenn. – Heavy rain across Tennessee on Tuesday forced the cancellation of the third and final round of The Grove Intercollegiate, leaving ACU in 10th place in its final tournament of the fall season.
The Wildcats – who shot an opening-round 310 on Sunday – shot a 12-over-par 300 in Monday's second round at the par-72, 7,368-yard Grove Golf Club. Kentucky won the team title at 5-over-par 581, followed by Lipscomb at 590 (288-302), Middle Tennessee State in third at 593 (294-299), College of Charleston in fourth at 594 (304-290) and Cincinnati in fifth at 596 (303-293).
Junior Ryan Beaty rebounded from an opening-round 79 on Sunday to fire a 2-under-par 70 on Monday to finish in a tie for 14th in the individual standings at 149. Freshman
Garrett Glanton finished tied for 21st at 6-over-par 150 after rounds of 76 and 74.
Dillon Vaughn finished tied for 38th at 153 (77-76), followed by
Luke Carpenter in 53rd at 158 (78-80) and
Clarke Hudgins in 62nd at 161 (80-81).
