Wildcats finish off fall schedule in Tennessee

COLLEGE GROVE, Tenn. – The ACU Wildcats will wrap up the fall men's golf season this week with three rounds at The Grove Intercollegiate at The Grove Golf Club.
The tournament gets started Sunday with the first round before the second is played Monday and the final round played Tuesday at the par-72, 7,368-yard course. Middle Tennessee will host the second annual tournament, which is free and open to the public.
Along with the hosts from Middle Tennessee, ACU will be joined in the field by Cincinnati, College of Charleston, Kentucky, Louisiana-Lafayette, Lipscomb, Southern Miss, Troy, Wisconsin, Western Kentucky and Xavier.
ACU second-year head coach Tom Shaw will send out Ryan Beatty, Dillon Vaughn, Luke Carpenter, Garrett Glanton and Clarke Hudgins to play the three days for the Wildcats.
The Grove opened in 2012 and was designed by PGA tour player Greg Norman. His design incorporates the natural rolling hills, meandering stream beds and native grasses, which maintains the natural character of the site, while creating exciting play for golfers at every level.
The first round tee times will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday using holes Nos. 1 and 10. Second round and third round tee times will be at 9 a.m. both Monday and Tuesday.
