WICHITA FALLS – The sixth-ranked ACU Wildcats rallied from an early deficit Sunday afternoon to knock off Midwestern State, 7-2, in Lone Star Conference women's tennis action at the MSU Tennis Center.
The win pushes the Wildcats to 15-5 on the season, while the Mustangs fall to 8-4.
Midwestern State took a surprising 2-1 lead after doubles play with wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles. Rozike van Rensburg and Alex Odell-Michels knocked off the nation's third-ranked team in

Julia Mongin, 8-4, at No. 1, while Lindsey Holcomb and Ashley Huse beat
Lauren White and
Micah Hermsdorf, 8-4, at No. 3.
The Wildcats, however, stormed back to win all six singles matches, including three spits-sets matches. Walker knocked off Odell-Michels, 6-0, 1-6, 6-4, at No. 2 singles, while
Cassie Carver beat Leah Roberts, 1-6, 7-5, 6-1, at No. 3 singles.
Hannah Kelley won the final split-sets match, 2-6, 6-4, 10-4, at No. 5 singles.
