COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The sixth-ranked ACU Wildcats won two of three non-conference matches over the weekend, sandwiching a pair of victories around a loss to NCAA Division I member Air Force.
On Friday, the Wildcats knocked off Metro State, 9-0, to improve to 7-1 on the season. On Saturday, ACU split a pair of matches, falling 7-0 to Air Force before beating Colorado College, 9-0, to improve to 8-2 on the season.
The Wildcats didn't lose a set in either of their victories and lost only nine games in six singles matches against Colorado College.
The Wildcats will be back in action next weekend when they host Lee College at 2 p.m. Friday and then host Incarnate Word (9 a.m.) and Southeastern Oklahoma State (2 p.m.) on Saturday.
