2008-09 (Paris JC): Thompson helped Paris to a 23-5 record in 2008-09 and a runner-up finish to Navarro College in the Region XIV Tournament … he averaged 7.0 points and 1.6 rebounds per game for the Dragons.
High School: Thompson was a stand out athlete at Cypress Springs helping them finish 19-5 his senior year … he recorded 20 plus points on five occasions and 30 plus points five different times respectively
