High School: A four-year lettermen for coach Blake Kinney. Was member of 14-1 state championship team as a freshman. Was four-time all-district, all-region and all-state wide receiver, helping his team to a 34-12 record over four years. Was also a four-year lettermen and three-time all-state basketball player. Twice earned first team all-state honors and once second team honors as he lettered for all four season on the baseball squad. Also participated in track and field. Was a member of National Honor Society.
