2016 (Junior): Crain saw action in 10 games, starting four of them for the Wildcats. He had 131 yards on 14 caught passes. At Houston Baptist, he caught five passes for 51 yards. He had a season-long 23 yard catch against Lamar.

Junior college (2014, 2015): Transfers to ACU from one of the top junior college football programs in the country where he will slide into the fullback / h-back role that is so integral to the ACU offense. … Only caught five passes as a sophomore, but was still named first team all-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference. … Led his team to back-to-back 9-2 conference championship seasons.
