Lineberry could be in line to be the Wildcats’ placekicker as a true freshman in 2009. 

High school:  Four-year letterman in football, baseball, basketball, golf and tennis at Lakehill Prep.  As a senior quarterback, he completed 80 of 160 passes for 1,275 yards and 17 touchdowns and ran the ball 140 times for 1,290 yards and 31 touchdowns.  He also connected on 38 of 40 PATs and 95 percent of his kickoffs were touchbacks.  He was a TAPPS Six-Man Division I all-state kicker and a first team all-district quarterback and kicker and second team all-district safety. He was a three-time first team all-district baseball player and two-time honorable mention all-state selection.   As a senior he was a first team all-district basketball player, and as a junior he was part of the state champion doubles team in tennis.
