Will battle for the starting spot at nose guard in his first season as a Wildcat after transferring from Laney College.

2007-08 (Laney College): As a sophomore at Laney, Jones played in eight games as the Eagles finished 7-3 while playing in the Golden Gate Conference in the Northern California Football Association. Jones was second on the team with 38 tackles (16 solo), including five tackles for loss for 13 yards in losses. He also had four sacks for minus-21 yards in losses and one pass breakup. High school: Jones was a first team all-league selection as a sophomore, junior and senior, and was named the league’s Lineman of the Year as a senior.
