2009 (Junior): Williams saw action in 11 of the Wildcats 12 games in his first season for the Wildcats. Finished the season with 9 tackles and 1 interception. Recorded his lone INT against Fort Lewis where he also recorded a season high 3 tackles. Tied his season high 3 tackles in a second round playoff loss at Northwest Missouri.

2007-08 (Bakersfield JC): As a sophomore at Bakersfield College in 2008, Williams was voted first team all-Northern Conference in the National Division of the Southern California Football Association. In nine games he recorded 35 tackles (20 solo), 2 interceptions and 5 pass breakups.

High school: As a senior at Hallsville HS, Williams was an honorable mention Class 4A all-state selection by the Associated Press Sports Editors and was an honorable mention all-East Texas pick.
