High School: All-state running back for head coach Richard Reed. Was two-time first team all-district running back, rushing for more than 1,000 yards each as a junior and senior. Four-year letterman who rushed for 1,114 yards on 168 carries as a senior with 14 TDs. Was also four-year lettermen in track and field, earning all-state honors two times in 4x100 relay.
