Returns in 2017 for his second season as the starter, and he's coming off a solid sophomore season that saw him throw for 2,773 yards and 19 touchdowns, finishing in the top three in the league in completions, completion percentage, passing yards, passing yards per game, touchdowns and total offense.
Sophomore (2016): Sealey threw for at least 300 yards in seven of the 10 games in which he played (all starts), including a 400-yard effort in a 41-30 loss against Stephen F. Austin. … Sealey threw for at least 250 yards in eight of the 10 games in which he played in 2016, and threw for better than 300 yards in seven of those eight games. … He threw for a career-high 400 yards against Stephen F. Austin (Sept. 24), and he set a career-high with 32 completions against Houston Baptist (Sept. 17) and tied that mark against Incarnate Word (Oct. 22). … He set a career mark with 53 attempts against Stephen F. Austin. … He threw at least one touchdown pass in nine of the 10 games in which he played, and had a career-high five touchdown passes against Incarnate Word. … He threw three touchdown passes against both Air Force (Sept. 3) and Sam Houston State (Oct. 15).
2015 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in 10 games with starts against McNeese and Northwestern State. He threw for a career-high 282 yards and one score on 22 of 42 passing in the Wildcats’ near-upset of eventual Southland Conference champion McNeese State. The next week at Northwestern State, he threw for 160 yards and one score in a loss to the Demons. His legs played a big part in the Wildcats’ 35-32 win over Stephen F. Austin on Sept. 26 when he ran six times for 49 yards (long run of 17 yards) and completed 2 of 2 passes for 15 yards. In the loss at Northwestern State, he carried the ball 20 times for 47 yards and one score.
2014 (Freshman): Redshirt.
High school: Sealey threw for 1,504 yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior at Lawton HS while leading Lawton to the Class 6A quarterfinals. Sealey was incredibly efficient, completing 58 percent of his passes and not throwing an interception. Sealey was an honorable mention all-state selection by the Daily Oklahoman in 2013. Led Lawton to the District 6A-4 title and an unblezmished 10-0 regular season, the 11th perfect regular season in program history. He was the District 6A-4 Quarterback of the Year. Played at Lawton for head coach Randy Breeze.
Personal: Son of John Lavender and Sandra Sealey. Also lettered in baseball and basketball. 2014 graduate of Lawton High School. Born 22 November 1995.
