Travis Dixon is in his second year as cornerbacks coach for the ACU football team. He was named to his current position in March of 2019, and joined the Wildcats following three seasons as the special teams coordinator and defensive backs coach at South Dakota School of Mines. Dixon also coached running backs for the Hardrockers during his first season (2015) in Rapid City.

Playing Career
A former starting quarterback and safety at UNLV, Dixon's coaching career started in March 2011 with Arizona State as the Sun Devils' offensive assistant for quality control. He remained in this position for two seasons before moving onto Arizona Western and his alma mater UNLV in 2014.
Dixon coached wide receivers at Arizona Western and was assigned to special teams and defensive line for the Runnin' Rebels.
Dixon earned his Bachelor of Arts in communication from UNLV in 2010.
