2009 (Junior): Split time with Zack Stewart and Mitchell Gale before finishing the season as the back-up. Was 1 of 2 for 24 yards in a season opening win over #2 Northwest Missouri State. Had a season high 8-for-15 performance in a win over Fort Lewis, throwing for 83 yards and one touchdown. Also saw action against Eastern New Mexico going 3-for-6 for 60 yards.
2008 (Sophomore): Played in two games for the Wildcats, but did not attempt a pass against either East Central (Oct. 4) or West Texas A&M (Oct. 18).
2006-07 (Tulsa): Sat out the 2006 season as a redshirt and then played in two games in 2007, but did not complete a pass. He did, however, rush for 10 yards on 2 carries. In the spring game in May he completed 10 of 13 passes for 166 yards and 2 touchdowns before deciding to transfer.
High school: Was the starter at Class 4A Ennis HS his senior season, leading his team to an 11-2 record and the region championship game. He completed 323 of 464 passes for 3,924 yards and 39 touchdowns as a senior, leading Class 4A in passing. He was named the District 14-4A MVP and earned first team all-district honors. He was injured in the first game of his junior season and missed the entire year.
Personal: Born 21 Oct 1987. 2006 graduate of Ennis High School in Ennis, Texas. Married to former ACU women's soccer standout Jordan Reese. His father (and high school coach) is ACU graduate Sam Harrell, who played for legendary coach Gordon Wood at Brownwood, and his brother is former record-setting Texas Tech quarterback Graham Harrell.
