Biography

Looking for playing time at wide receiver for the Wildcats after transferring from Lone Star Conference rival Angelo State.  Played in 2006 and 2007 for the Rams before sitting out the 2008 season.

2006-07 (Angelo State):  As a sophomore, Fowler led the Rams in receiving with 38 catches for 616 yards and five touchdowns while earning honorable mention all-LSC South Division honors.  He recorded a pair of 100-yard receiving games in 2007, finishing with five catches for 118 yards in a 44-16 loss to Midwestern State, and the next week catching eight passes for 130 yards and one touchdown in a 28-21 double-overtime win over Eastern New Mexico.  As a freshman in 2006, Fowler caught five passes for 71 yards.  In two career games against ACU, Fowler caught five passes for 57 yards and one touchdown with all of those totals coming in a 52-28 ACU win in 2007.

High school:  Three-time all-district pick, and he was twice named academic all-district.  As a senior in 2005 he was team MVP and team captain, and he was named the Austin Anderson HS Male Athlete of the Year.  Fowler also lettered in baseball and track and field.
