2008 (Sophomore): Johnson saw action in nine games, finishing the season with eight tackles (five solo) and one fumble recovery. Johnson had a season-high three tackles (all solo) in the Wildcats’ season-opening win at Northwest Missouri State on Aug. 30.

2007 (Redshirt freshman): Played in 12 of the Wildcats’ 13 games, finishing with 16 tackles (eight solo) to go along with one-half tackle for loss. Had his best game of the season on Sept. 22 when the Wildcats went to Weatherford, Okla., and whipped Southwestern Oklahoma State, 50-14. Johnson finished the game with five tackles (two assists).

High school: Johnson was a two-year team captain, playing both running back and linebacker. Helped his team finish 7-4 as a senior in 2004. Johnson also lettered in basketball, baseball and track and field.
