2013 (Junior): Played in all 11 games with starts coming against Concordia (Ala.), Illinois State, Pittsburg State, Houston Baptist and Incarnate Word. Averaged 8.3 all-purpose yards per game and 7.6 yards per catch. Caught two touchdowns totaling seven yards in blowout win over McMurry. Made a season-high three receptions for 11 yards and caught a TD in victory at Houston Baptist. Also scored a touchdown in season-finale at Prairie View A&M. Longest reception went for 22 yards vs. New Mexico Highlands. Recorded a 20-yard reception in first game vs. Incarnate Word.
2012 (Sophomore): Appeared in six games during his first full season with the Wildcats.
2011 (Redshirt freshman): Saw action on special teams for the Bulldogs, playing in two games.
2010 (Freshman): Redshirt at Louisiana Tech.
High School: Lettered three years for William Howard at Wylie High School. Was a second team all-district quarterback his senior year after earning all-state and all-district honors as a tight end his junior season. Led team with 13 touchdowns as a tight end his junior year. Also earned one letter in track and FCA member.
Personal: Cheshier is the son of former ACU all-America offensive lineman Richard Van Druten, who went on to play in the NFL for the Kansas City Chiefs. Signed with Louisiana Tech out of high school. 2010 graduate of Wylie High School. Born 03 August 1991.
