2011 (Sophomore): Played in 11 games with one start for the Wildcats, finishing the season with 10 tackles (five solo) and three pass breakups. Also returned eight kickoffs for 176 yards with a long return of 34 yards.

2010 (Freshman): Played in 11 games as reserve DB with 7 tackles (2 solo). Also returned 16 kickoffs for 365 yards (22.8 yards per return) with long of 77 in 41-34 road win at West Texas A&M. Blocked punt for TD in road win at Northeast Oklahoma. His 77-yard kickoff return against WT set up field goal in seven-point victory.

2009 (Freshman): Redshirt.

High school: Four-year letterwinner who led his team to a 14-0 record and state championship in 2008. As a senior he caught 42 passes for 1,033 yards and 13 touchdowns offensively, while also recording 63 tackles, four interceptions, 10 tackles for loss and 16 pass breakups defensively. As a senior he was first team all-district and first team all-state at both wide receiver and defensive back. As a junior he was first team all-district at both receiver and defensive back and first team all-state at defensive back. As a sophomore he returned six punts for touchdowns to earn the district’s Special Teams MVP award. Also lettered in soccer and track and field. Played for head coach Mike Wheeler.
