2013 (Junior): Appeared in all 11 games with nine starts, finishing the season with nine catches for 79 yards and one touchdown. Parker averaged 8.8 yards per catch and 7.9 all-purpose yards per game. Ran back two kicks for eight yards. Caught lone touchdown pass of season (three-yard reception) vs. Tarleton State at Frisco’s Toyota Stadium. Recorded a season high three passed for 18 yards vs. New Mexico Highlands. Longest catch of season was a 24-yard grab vs. McMurry. Made at least one grab in games at Pittsburg State, at Incarnate Word and at Prairie View A&M.
2012 (Sophomore): Appeared in 10 games and averaged 10.2 yards per catch (5 for 51). Caught a 16-yard pass vs. Texas A&M-Kingsville. Made two receptions for 19 yards in season-finale at Incarnate Word.
2011 (Freshman): Played in nine games as a true freshman, backing up starter Ben Gibbs at tight end. Started the final two games of the season after Gibbs’ injury in the Nov. 5 win over Texas A&M-Kingsville. Parker finished with one catch for 11 yards, that coming in the Wildcats’ Nov. 19 first-round playoff loss at Washburn.
High school: Three-year letterman for team that was 10-2 his senior season. In 2010 he caught 11 passes for 108 yards at tight end, rushed 24 times for 274 yards, and had 80 tackles and 5 QB sacks on defense. He earned first team all-region at defensive end and honorable mention at running back for team that started 7-0 and lost in the regional title game.
