2009 (Junior): Played in all 13 games for 9-4 NCAA playoff team. Finished season with 16 tackles (5 solo) along with 2 tackles behind the line of scrimmage and 2 quarterback sacks (both in season finale at Midwestern State). Had 4-tackle performance at MSU for best game of first season with Wildcats with 3 tackles vs. Texas A&M-Kingsville.

2007-08 (Los Angeles Valley JC): As a sophomore in 2008, Jones played in just three games, but was voted second team all-Pacific Conference in the American Division of the Southern California Football Association. He finished with 12 tackles (5 solo), 1 quarterback hurry, 1 forced fumble and 1 blocked kick.
