2009 (Sophomore): All-Lone Star Conference defensive back helped the Wildcats to the NCAA playoffs as he saw action in every game. Finished with 31 tackles for ACU including 1 tackle for a loss. Recorded two interceptions for the Wildcats including arguably the biggest of the season, returning an interception 85 yards for a TD on the opening play of overtime in the Wildcats first trip to the Cotton Bowl in a 20-14 win over Texas A&M-Commerce. Also had an interception in an ACU win on the road at ranked Angelo State. Recorded a season high 7 tackles in a season ending loss in the second round of the playoffs at Northwest Missouri State. Three times recorded 4 tackles for the Wildcats including a first round playoff win at Midwestern State.

2008 (Freshman): Played in all 12 Wildcat games during an 11-1 campaign. Finished the season with 23 tackles (17 solo) and was tied for the team lead in interceptions with 3. He also had 5 pass breakups and 8 passes defended. He earned honorable mention all-Lone Star Conference South Division honors for his play.

2007 (Freshman): Redshirt as a walk-on at Tulsa.

High school: Was a three-year letter winner and starter at Arlington Martin. Cuffee started in the defensive secondary for three years and also started at receiver his sophomore and senior seasons. Cuffee recorded 161 tackles, 8 interceptions and 5 fumbles during his three seasons in the secondary. As a receiver he had 43 receptions for 541 yards and 4 touchdowns, as well as 3 rushing TDs during his prep career. Cuffee earned second-team all-district honors as a defensive back both his junior and senior seasons, and he was an honorable mention all-district defensive back as a sophomore.
