Biography

Dudensing returns as the Wildcats’ starter at fullback for the third straight season.

2009 (Track and Field):  Dudensing again competed on the ACU track and field team, throwing the hammer outdoors.  He finished third in the event at the Lone Star Conference championship meet, and had a season-best mark of 169 feet, 1 inch at the Oliver Jackson Open in Abilene on April 30.

2008 (Sophomore):  For the second straight season, Dudensing was a first team all-Lone Star Conference South Division selection for his play as the lead blocker for Harlon Hill Award winner Bernard Scott.  Dudensing did not carry the ball, but he did catch seven passes in 12 games for 56 yards.  He also had one kickoff return for 17 yards. 

2008 (Track and Field):  Competed in the hammer, discus and shot put for the Wildcats, who finished second at the NCAA Division II indoor meet and won the outdoor national title.  Dudensing was second in the hammer throw at the Lone Star Conference championship meet with a throw of 163-11.  His best mark in the discus was 127-10 at the ACU Triangular and his best mark in the shot put was 46-0.50 (fourth place) at the Dr Pepper Invitational in Waco. 

2007 (Redshirt freshman):  Dudensing played in 12 games, starting nine for the Wildcats.  He moved into the starting lineup full-time in Week 6 against Northeastern State.  Dudensing did not carry the ball, but did catch four passes for 24 yards.  His key role was as lead blocker for Bernard Scott, who set ACU and Lone Star Conference single-season records with 2,165 rushing yards.  Dudensing was voted first team all-LSC South Division. 

2007 (Track and Field):  Dudensing finished sixth in the hammer at the Lone Star Conference championship meet with a mark of 153-0.00 as the Wildcats won the team championship.  His other outdoor bests were 44-10.25 in the shot put and 134-11.00 in the discus.  His best mark during the indoor season was a 41-8.00 mark in the shot put at the Texas Tech All-Comers Meet on Feb. 10. 

High school:  As a senior at Rule HS, Dudensing won the Area 11-12A championship in both the shot put (48-10.50) and discus (142-6.50). At the Region II-A meet, he finished second in the shot put (50-4.00) to qualify for the state meet while finishing fifth in the discus (142-1.00). At the Class A state meet, he finished sixth in the shot put (47-0.25). As a junior in 2005, Dudensing won the Area 11-12A championship in the shot put (49-11.25) and finished second in the discus (127-1.00) to qualify for the regional meet in both events.  At the Region II-A meet, he finished second in the discus with a career-best mark of 157-11.00, while finishing fourth in the shot put (47-5.00). He finished fifth at the Class A state championship meet in the discus (139-2.00). As a sophomore in 2004, he finished third in the shot put (43-4.00) at the Area 9-10A meet. Dudensing also lettered in football at Rule HS where he was a Six-Man all-state player for the Bobcats.  He was the class valedictorian.
