Listed as a starter at cornerback going into the 2009 season. 

2008 (Freshman):  Played in all 12 Wildcat games during an 11-1 campaign.  Finished the season with 23 tackles (17 solo) and was tied for the team lead in interceptions with three.  He also had five pass breakups and eight passes defended.  He earned honorable mention all-Lone Star Conference South Division honors for his play.  Walk-on at Tulsa where he sat out the 2007 season as a redshirt. 

High school:  Was a three-year letterwinner and starter at Arlington Martin.  Cuffee started in the defensive secondary for three years and also started at receiver his sophomore and senior seasons.  Cuffee recorded 161 tackles, eight interceptions and five fumbles during his three seasons in the secondary.  As a receiver he had 43 receptions for 541 yards and four touchdowns, as well as three rushing TDs during his prep career.  Cuffee earned second-team all-district honors as a defensive back both his junior and senior seasons, and he was an honorable mention all-district defensive back as a sophomore.
