Borgeson returns for her senior season and will battle Lorena Arreguin for the starting job behind the plate. 2006 (Junior): Borgeson was one of six Wildcats to collect at least 60 hits and one of eight to collect at least 50 hits on the season as she finished 60 hits. A workhorse behind the plate, Borgeson played in all 61 Wildcat games, starting in 57 games. Finished fifth on the team with a .349 batting average and hit six of ACU's 61 home runs on the season. She posted two three-RBI games in 2006 (Feb. 7 against Cameron and March 17 against Angelo State). Borgeson earned first team all-LSC South Division honors for the Wildcats. 2004-05 (Vernon Junior College): Two-time all conference catcher who hit .342 with four home runs and 28 RBI and a .988 fielding percentage as a sophomore in 2005. She was a two-time National Fastpitch Coaches' Association scholar athlete and nominated for the NJCAA academic all-America team. Borgeson also played volleyball her freshman season. High school: Borgeson was an all-state selection as both a junior and senior, and she was a four-year letterwinner in volleyball, basketball, softball and track and field.
