ACU Wraps Up Season-Opening Boilermaker Classic

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Abilene Christian women's golf wrapped up the Boilermaker Classic in a draw for 15th place at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex on Tuesday. In her collegiate debut, freshman Kaylee Yuan paced the Wildcats in a tie for 36th place to kick off the 2026-27 season.
ACU scored 34-over 322 in the final round to close at 65-over 929. The Wildcats return to action at the Red Raider Invitational at The Rawls Course in Lubbock, Texas on Sept. 22-23.
Yuan carded a 10-over 82 with a birdie on Tuesday to wrap up at 11-over 227. She tied for 10th in the field on par 4s at 2-over. Julia Vollmer followed in a draw for 58th place at 17-over 233 after a 9-over 81 final round featuring a birdie. She drew for 11th on par 3s at even par.
Alana Kutt was right behind in a tie for 62nd place at 18-over 234. She logged an 8-over 80 on Tuesday with a pair of birdies, including on her final hole. Kate Pickrell had two birdies of her own in a 7-over 79 final round, closing at 23-over 239 to draw for 78th.
Jiyu Han rounded out the lineup in a draw for 85th at 27-over 243.
