The game between the Wildcats and Mavericks, which is
Greek Night presented by Arrow Ford, will be the sole linear TV broadcast of a regular season Western Athletic Conference men's basketball game this season. The Feb. 12 matchup will be the season's second between the two teams. UTA will host ACU in Arlington on Saturday, Jan. 10. The third meeting is the regular season finale on Saturday, March 7 in Abilene.
ACU has won four of its six games against the Mavericks dating back to November 2021 when Immanuel Allen hit a buzzer-beating three-pointer to send the game to overtime where the Wildcats won 80-71 in Arlington. It was
Brette Tanner's first win as ACU's head coach.
The Wildcats and Mavericks have split their WAC games each of the past two seasons.
Earlier this month, the Big 12 Conference announced
ACU's game at BYU on Friday, Dec. 19, will be broadcast on TNT.
Two ACU games were broadcast on national TV during the 2024-25 season: at Baylor on CBS Sports Network, and at Texas A&M on SEC Network.
The 2025-26 season begins with three straight home games: Monday, Nov. 3 vs. McMurry, Thursday, Nov. 6 vs. Omaha, and Tuesday, Nov. 11 vs. Southwestern Adventist.
