Masha Vrsalovic came up with wins but Abilene Christian dropped a 5-2 decision at New Mexico State on Saturday.
Cascos won at No. 3 singles and Vrsalovic at No. 4 singles – both in straight sets.
Andrea Guerrero and
Libby Blair pushed their matches to three sets before falling.
Guerrero and
Olivia Sears were leading in their No. 2 doubles match when it was halted because NMSU clinched the doubles point.
The Wildcats get back to action next weekend when they visit Wichita State on Friday and Tulsa on Saturday.
