EL PASO – Abilene Christian finished off its first road trip with a loss and
Sammie Shelander was named to the Dr. Diana Natalicio All-Tournament Team on Sunday.
The Wildcats lost to UTEP 12-0 in the finale of the five-game road trip for ACU.
Miranda Lista broke up a no-hitter with a two-out double in the fifth inning for ACU's lone hit.
Ella Beeman took the loss.
Shelander batted .364 for the tournament with two doubles and an RBI.
The Wildcats return home to host the ACU Tournament, which includes Houston Christian, New Mexico and Marist. The Cats'play Friday at 4 p.m. against Houston Christian and at 7 p.m. against New Mexico.
