Men's Golf Heads to Western Carolina

ABILENE – Abilene Christian continues its men's golf season Monday at Western Carolina's JT Poston Invitational.
The 54-hole tournament at the Country Club of Sapphire Valley includes two rounds on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. The par-71 course is 7007 yards.
Making the trip for the Wildcats are Zane Heusel, Grégoire Hoyeau, Preston Cooper, Trenton Johnson and Thomas Buisson.
ACU is coming off of a sixth-place finish at the Argent Financial Classic. The Wildcats had the best third round of the tournament at 281. Heusel, Cooper and Johnson had sub-70 rounds in the three-day event.
Along with ACU and host Western Carolina, Xavier, Georgia Southern, Augusta, Queens, Francis Marion, Georgia State, Radford, Kennesaw State, Wofford, Elon, Appalachian State, High Point, Drexel, Western Kentucky are in the field. Also in the tournament are individuals from Clemson, Wake Forest and East Tennessee State.
