ARLINGTON – The Western Athletic Conference announced their post-season baseball awards Monday, and two Wildcats took home honors. Outfielder Grayson Tatrow was named the WAC Player of the Year and to the all-WAC first team after a banner season, and outfielder Logan Britt was named to the all-defensive team. The two led ACU and the WAC in multiple categories, with Tatrow setting new program records for career and single-season home runs. Britt ranks second in ACU history in stolen bases in a single season as well.
Tatrow becomes ACU's second Player of the Year at the Division I level, joining Luis Treviño, who won the Southland Player of the Year award in 2019.
