Cats Journey to Southern Utah Saturday

ABILENE – Abilene Christian attempts to extend its winning streak to three games when the Wildcats visit Southern Utah on Saturday at 2 p.m., Central.
 
ACU comes into the contest at 4-3 overall and 2-1 in the United Athletic Conference. Three teams – No. 18 Central Arkansas, No. 20 Austin Peay and Eastern Kentucky are ahead of ACU in the UAC standings at 2-0.

SAFELY TUCKED AWAY – Abilene Christian has lost two fumbles through seven games this season. The Wildcats lead the United Athletic Conference and are ninth in the Football Championship Subdivision in ball security.
 
JOLLY TIME: ACU cornerback Patrick Jolly is second in the FCS and first in the UAC with four interceptions this season. He also has broken up three other passes. He has the most interceptions in a season since 2018 when Adonis Davis had four.
 
LONG DISTANCE: ACU kicker Kyle Ramsey has three of the four longest field goals in the FCS this season. Ramsey is 11 of 11 this season in field goal attempts and only two of those have been from inside 40 yards. He is 4-4 in kicks of 40-49 yards and 4-4 in kicks of 50 or more yards, including a 55-yard boot at Prairie View. Ramsey averages 8.3 points per game.
