DENTON, Texas— Breanna Box had another dominant performance in the middle but it wasn't enough as the Wildcats fell in straight sets to North Texas Saturday afternoon. ACU started the match well offensively, hitting .407 as a team, through set one despite dropping the set. The Wildcats offense wasn't quite as efficient through sets two and three but they found ways to stay competitive in each set.

News and Notes

The Wildcats won the blocking battle, edging the Mean Green 5-3 for the match.
Box hit .579 for the match for her fourth-straight contest hitting .571 or better. Her hitting percentage for the tournament was .588.
Lindsey Toney led the Wildcats with 13 kills on the day and adding digs on the day.
Madison Rohre totaled 32 assists and nine digs on the day, just missing a double-double.
Madison Lawler led the Wildcats with 11 digs.

The Wildcats will be back on the road Tuesday when they head to Norman, Okla. to face the Sooners at 5 p.m.
