HAMMOND, La.— The Wildcats came off their bye week and headed out on a tough weekend road trip. ACU faced the Lady Lions of Southeastern Louisiana and fell in four sets. The team was competitive through the first set, but errors hindered the Wildcats early. ACU hit -.034 in the first set and also had four receiving errors, ultimately falling 19-25.

The Wildcats were able to bounce back for a better offensive outing in set two, but after taking a 23-20 lead, SLU ran off five-straight points to end the set. ACU was able to take one from the Lady Lions in set three, the team hit .250 in the set and tallied three blocks on their way to the 25-22 win. The fourth and final set was all SLU as they got out to the early 5-0 lead and used that momentum to carry them to a 25-9 win.

Lindsey Toney led the way for the Wildcats with 10 kills in the match.
The Wildcats are now 5-3 all-time against SLU, with the Lady Lions taking the last two matches.
ACU totaled nine blocks in the match, three in each of the first three sets. Braden Bossier added to her team-leading block totals with four block assists and one solo block.
The team struggled with serve receive in the match with 11 reception errors on the night.
Five different Wildcats totaled at least five kills on the night.
Madison Rohre notched a double-double with 15 assists and 11 digs.
