ACU STORYLINES

  • THE LAST TIME THEY MET: Six Wildcats put the ball in the back of the net in the 6-1 win over Chicago State in Abilene on Oct. 2. ACU held a ridiculous 34-4 edge in shot attempts, including a 12-3 edge in shots placed on frame. The goals scored (6) were the most since Sept. 2019 when ACU scored eight times at Nicholls. It was the most goals scored at home since the team scored six against Northwestern State at Elmer Gray in 2017.
  • TOUGH WEEKEND: ACU fell 3-0 to SFA and 2-1 to Sam Houston last week on the road, but had positives to take away. ACU outshot Sam Houston 26-9 and got some opportunities to score.
  • LEADERS: The Wildcats have had eight players score a goal this season, led by three from Chayse Thorn. Natalie Jones, Natalie Wodka, Emily Heidman, and Caylen Wright have all scored twice. Lily Foster has tallied 58 saves this season in net.

SCOUTING CHICAGO STATE

  • The Cougars (0-11-1, 0-5-0 WAC) are coming off a pair of losses to Sam Houston and SFA as well.
  • Chicago State is led by Sara Quevedo's four goals scored, while Alexa Seiler has 61 saves in net.
