ABILENE - Abilene Christian soccer will compete in seven matches across its spring slate, including four contests at Elmer Gray Stadium, as the Wildcats released their 2026 spring schedule on Friday. ACU will test itself with in-state powers Texas Tech and TCU, who each competed in last season's NCAA Tournament.
The Wildcats look to build upon a historic campaign in 2025 that saw them reach the Western Athletic Conference semifinals for the first time in program history while receiving their most All-WAC honors since joining the conference. Three student-athletes earned a total of four All-Conference accolades.
ACU opens the spring versus Texas Tech at the John Walker Soccer Complex in Lubbock on Saturday, Feb. 28. The Red Raiders reached the NCAA Tournament's Round of 32 in 2025, landing in fourth in the Big 12 standings and ranking 18th in the final United Soccer Coaches poll.
The Wildcats host a pair of home matches on Sunday, March 22 versus Ranger College and Sul Ross State. The Lady Rangers captured the NJCAA Region V Championship last season.
ACU visits Fort Worth on Friday, April 3 to battle TCU at Garvey-Rosenthal Soccer Stadium. The Horned Frogs are back-to-back regular season Big 12 champions and advanced to the 2025 NCAA College Cup. They ranked fifth in the final USC Top 25.
The Wildcats wrap up their home slate against UT Permian Basin and Cisco College at Elmer Gray Stadium on Saturday, April 11. They cap the spring versus Angelo State at the LeGrand Soccer Complex in San Angelo on Saturday, April 18.
