ABILENE – The ACU Wildcats return to Southland Conference play this weekend when they host Central Arkansas in a three-game series at Crutcher Scott Field.
Friday's game is set for 6 p.m. with Saturday's game starting at 2 p.m. and Sunday's game set for a 1 p.m. start. All three games will be broadcast on 98.1 FM and will be available to watch on acusports.com.
The Wildcats are 19-23 overall and enter Friday's game on a four-game losing streak after dropping a game last Tuesday at Texas A&M, two games last weekend at Siena and falling 4-0 Tuesday night at home to TCU. ACU, however, needs just one more win to reach 20 wins in a season for the first time since making the move from NCAA Division II status to Division I affiliation in 2013-14. At 5-16 in league play, the Wildcats are just four games out of eighth place and a spot in the Southland Conference Postseason Tournament with nine league games left on the schedule.
