Softball in Florida this weekend for five-game tournament

ABILENE – Abilene Christian softball continues tournament play this weekend at the EMU Madeira Beach Spring Invitational.
The Wildcats will face UMKC, Jacksonville State, Monmouth and Georgia Southern between Friday and Saturday with games slated to begin at 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. ET. On Sunday ACU will battle George Mason, with the first pitch is set for 11:30 a.m. ET.
ACU went 1-3 last weekend with a dominating 9-0 win over Southern Illinois on Saturday during which senior pitcher Hannah Null tossed her third career no-hitter behind six strikeouts.
Senior Brianna Barnhill collected four hits, two of which were home runs, plus four runs and three RBI. Peyton Hedrick and Donelle Johnson also blasted home runs for the Wildcats. Hedrick got hers in the first game against Southern Illinois, while Johnson collected hers in the second game against the Salukis.
