ABLIENE – The Abilene Christian soccer team matched up against each other for the Purple and White Intrasquad game at Elmer Gray Stadium.
The contest was broken into three 30-minute periods. The Purple team was made up of new players and the White team consisted of returning players.
ACU's Purple newcomers beat the White returners 6-0. Hannah O'Donnell led the offense by putting two in the back of the net for Purple.
O'Donnell started things off scoring in the 21st minute of the contest. Emily Goulet scored for the newcomers in the second with eight-minutes left in the period. Purple blasted four additional goals in the third. O'Donnell started things off in the beginning of the third period to continue the momentum for purple. Brittney Harris, Christina Arteaga, and Baylee Hux each added one to seal a Purple victory.
Fall camp continues into next week wrapping up with an exhibition game on Friday, Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. against Baylor in Waco, Texas.
