HOUSTON – The ACU Wildcats will try to put an end to their losing streak this weekend when they take on Houston Baptist in a three-game Southland Conference series at Husky Field.
The series begins at 2 p.m. Thursday and will be followed by a 2 p.m. game Friday and a 1 p.m. game Saturday.
The Wildcats are 9-20 overall after Tuesday night's 8-1 loss at Texas A&M, and they are 1-14 in the Southland Conference. ACU is riding a 13-game losing streak, the program's longest since it began its transition to NCAA Division I affiliation in 2013-14.
Houston Baptist is 14-15 overall and 6-6 in the league, but has lost four of its last five games.

Russell Crippen is eighth in the league in hitting (.378), fifth in slugging percentage (.631), fifth in doubles (13), tied for 10th in home runs (five), and ninth in total bases (70).
