Chelsea Reedy,
Alyssa Gerner and
Dylan Owens scored for the Wildcats vs. Prairie View, while senior
Leslie Snider scored their lone goal vs. the Red Raiders with an assist from
Chloe Fifer.
Oklahoma State is 2-3-1 coming into Friday's match with ACU after suffering consecutive losses to Central Florida (3-2) and Florida (7-2). The Cowgirls' last win was a 4-1 decision against the Golden Eagles of Oral Roberts, who the Wildcats played to a scoreless tie on Aug. 26.
SMU is 3-1 with two of those victories coming against Southland Conference opposition from Northwestern State (8-0) and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (9-0). The Mustangs also beat Indiana, 2-1, but lost to Butler by the same score. SMU will play at nationally ranked BYU Thursday in Provo, Utah before coming home to host the Wildcats.
