ABILENE, Texas – The Abilene Christian soccer team remains on the road this weekend for neutral-site matches at Texas and Texas A&M vs. UT San Antonio and UC Irvine. Live stats will be offered for each of the contests, which mark the program's first-ever regular-season appearances on these campuses.

The Wildcats square off with the Roadrunners Friday at 4:30 p.m. on the pitch at Mike A. Myers Stadium as part of the Longhorns' tournament that also features No. 5 North Carolina and No. 18 Ohio State.

Sunday ACU ventures to Ellis Field – home to the fourth-ranked Aggies – for a 10 a.m. match against the Anteaters. Florida Atlantic vs. Texas A&M will follow the Wildcats' match later that night.

ACU will again return to each of these locales in the next few weeks, meeting A&M for a SEC Network + match on Sept. 6 at 6 p.m., and UT on Sept. 13 for a 1 p.m. battle that will be broadcast on the Longhorn Network.

The Wildcats (0-2) remain winless on the young season after beginning their 2015 season last weekend with consecutive road losses to Arizona (0-4) and UTEP (0-1). The offense averaged 6.0 shots per match led by Lindsey Jones (three shots) and Baylee Mitchell (three shots), while on defense Kelsey Dombrowski made 13 saves on 40 shots faced.

About The Opposition
UTSA (0-1): The Roadrunners are led by first year-head coach Greg Sheen and are part of Conference USA … UTSA lost its season opener in overtime, 2-1, to ACU's Southland Conference rival Sam Houston State, and earlier the Roadrunners were shutout in back-to-back exhibitions vs. Incarnate Word and Texas State … Last year UTSA posted a 6-10-2 win-loss record and won only two of its 10 conference matches.

UC Irvine (1-1): The Anteaters of the Big West Conference split their season-opening homestand last weekend as they followed a 1-0 loss to Auburn with a 3-1 victory vs. Idaho State … Their exhibition results included consecutive ties vs. Richmond (1-1) and Cal State Northridge (0-0) … They are projected to finish fourth in the Big West this season after going 3-4-1 vs. the league a year ago as part of a 7-9-3 campaign.
